Missions Program at CBC Altoona

After our Lord Jesus Christ had risen from the dead and before he ascended into Heaven, he left his disciples a command we call the Great Commission. It is found in Matthew 28:18-20 which says,

“18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

We at CBC Altoona believe it is our responsibility to fulfill the Great Commission in our city, our nation, and the world. It is because of this conviction that we have an organized time each week that we go out and share the Good News with the people of Altoona. Along with our efforts in our city, we support missionaries serving both nationally and internationally. We support missionaries through monthly financial giving, as well as, our prayers.
